Gift Card usage
With Frontdeskify your customers can buy and redeem gift cards when shopping on your website or when making in-store purchases. This guide will cover:
- Gift Cards settings
- Selling gift cards

Gift Cards settings
- Navigate to gift card settings by:
- Gift Cards settings can be edited by clicking on the "Edit" button.
- Gift Card Presets - default amounts the purchaser can quickly select when purchasing gift cards.
- Gift Card Expiry Days - you can set gift cards to never expire or to expire after a set number of days.
- If you do not wish to sell gift cards, this feature can be disabled by clicking on the "Disable" button.
Selling gift cards
Selling gift cards online
You must have a connected PayPal business account in order to use this option. See this section of the eCommerce setup tutorial for instructions.
- Gift cards can be purchased from the shop section of your website.
- Or by going to the standalone link, which can be obtained from Gift Cards settings.
Selling gift cards in-store
Gift cards can be sold by clicking the "Add Gift Card" button during invoice creation.
Redeeming gift cards
The recipient will be sent an email containing a PIN number and a link.
- The PIN number can be used during checkout of orders on your online shop.
- By clicking on the link provided, the recipient can link the gift card to their client profile for use as a future payment method.
